Pars Nano Nasb Co., Iran, have started manufacturing NanoCid, a Nano-Silver antimicrobial product that is available in colloidal and powder forms for various appliations, such as: texiles, polymers, ceramics, and paints. Nano-Silver is already used in a number of products and it has been reported that it is not environmentally-friendly. The NanoCid web site doesn’t provide any Material Safety Data Sheets, however we did locate some information that states that NanoCid consists of silver nanoparticles (1%) and TiO2 (99%).
